Templates

A template is a collection of rules. Instead of selecting individual rules, you can choose a template to validate your IFC model. Templates are design to group related rules together, making it easier to validate your model.

IFC+SG Templates

We have created a bunch of IFC+SG requirements as rules and grouped them into templates. Simply select the relevant template to validate your IFC model against the IFC+SG standards.

Public / Private Templates

Your template can be either public or private. Public templates are shared with all users, while private templates are only visible to you.

If you have created private rules and have added them to a Public template, anyone that uses your template will be able to use your private rules, however they will not be able to see the rules themselves.

Adding rules to a template

To add rules to a template, go to the your template page, and click on Edit Rules. You can then select the rules you want to add to your template.
